Renewable energy "refers to  sources of fuel and power that are sustainable resources such as geothermal, biomass, wind and sun (America)

For information on the following renewable energy sources, visit the National Renewable Energy Laboratory website.

Renewable energy solutions for small businesses include:

Biofuels for vehicles: Fuels such as ethanol and biodiesel made from biomass. Ethanol is made from starches and sugars

Small Wind Electric Systems: Systems that harnesses wind power for generators.

Solar Hot Water Systems: Using solar energy to heat water for building usage.

Photovoltaic Electricity: Photovoltaic cells that convert sunlight into electricity. These cells are used in solar panels, calculators, and more.

Information from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). The NREL is a helpful resource to lean more about renewable energy methods, and how to implement them in your small business.
